How I Learned to Swing a Kettlebell — and Why It's in Every Bite Size Strength Workout
A couple of years ago I didn't even know how to swing a kettlebell (check out this video for proof). But then I started training with Beth Lewis and her tremendous fitness community, and they taught me how to swing.
This is a fun progressive workout that starts rather basic, with 2 hand consecutive swings, and gets more complicated with a 7 move complex that requires cognitive and motor skills to make sure you hit all the moves. It's a solid heart pumping, strength and endurance building circuit using my new favorite toy: the kettlebell.
My love for kettlebells shows up in Bite Size Strength. Each workout in that group starts with strength training (2 supersets, consisting of 2 exercises each), and ends with kettlebell swings and complexes. Bite Size Strength workouts are extremely efficient and well rounded workouts that hit all the spots.
